A lazy winter weekend, browsing facebook, I came across a post that changed how I felt about road biking.
What I saw was unbelievable to begin with – but as I read and understood the technique, it became intriguing – almost doable.
What I read was about doodles miles long, spread across cities and done without a brush and a paint. In the traditional sense that is. The brush is the humble bicycle and the paint is the GPS trail that gets itched on the map as one moves around with a GPS tracker on.
What I came across was gpsdoodles.com. Who I came across was Stephen Lund. What inspired me was his Ted talk.
