Happy Streets

The concept so well known across the world, of making an area vehicle free for some time, so it can really be enjoyed by the citizens – came into India as Raahgiri about 03 years back. It started in Gurgaon and became popular very soon. Noida had a few variations of it in the past (ex. Wave Smart Jiyo).  The concept was being reintroduced in Noida as Happy Streets. A combined effort by Noida police, Noida authority and Times of India.

Good cause – but needs participation to be successful. I decided tosupport it with what I have lately been doing. Do a doodle and get it some media attention – and in the process get citizens to participate.

This was to be my longest doodle till date. Not because of the expanse but because of multiple doubling-backs to form the letters. More than 55 Kms and 3 hours created this:
