The Hound of Noidaville

I was getting ambitious now. I was getting a hang of it, having incredible fun doing it, and was getting others inspired in the process.

The next doodle hence was a little more audacious. It would be a 50 Km ride and would stretch across Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad.

And I called this creation – the hound of noidaville ! Corny, I know 🙂

Ride was great fun but I had 2 learnings out of this one:

  1. Stop being lazy and get out early enough. I started at 7:30 and by the time I was finished, it was HOT.
  2. About 2/3th into the ride, my phone started going out of charge ! I was fairly sure I would not be able to complete the ride and the phone will run out of juice. But thanks to iPhone’s battery saving mode, and the process of keeping the screen off for the most part of the last third of the ride, I managed to survive and finish this ride – my favourite so far.

In this ride, I also used the technique of ‘connecting the dots’ rather boldly. More about it in my “how-to” post.

See it on Strava
